10 Out of 19 Wounded Soldiers in Artsakh Are Receiving Treatment in Yerevan
Recently, due to provocations from Azerbaijani units in the border area of the Republic of Artsakh, out of the 19 wounded soldiers, 2 have been discharged from the hospital. This was reported to Armenpress by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Aram Torosyan.
The remaining servicemen continue to receive treatment. Ten wounded servicemen are being treated in Yerevan, including one soldier in extremely serious condition, whose health is showing positive signs. One of the other nine soldiers is in serious condition but is recovering, three are in moderate condition and are also recovering, while the condition of the rest is assessed as light, and they too are recovering.
Starting from 09:00 on August 3, Azerbaijani units, grossly violating the ceasefire regime, targeted the combat positions of the Artsakh Defense Army and a permanent deployment site of one of the units. In addition to various calibers of firearms, they also used mortars, grenade launchers, and attack drones, resulting in the deaths of contracted soldiers Gurgen Galeryan Gabrielian and Arthur Yuri Khachatryan. Nineteen servicemen sustained injuries of varying degrees.
