Erdogan Discusses 'Liberating Nagorno-Karabakh'
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that "Nagorno-Karabakh has been liberated thanks to Turkey's support and Azerbaijan's epic struggle." Erdogan made this remark during the 13th conference of Turkish ambassadors held in Ankara, as reported by CNNTurk.
He emphasized that with Turkey's backing and Azerbaijan's victory, "the occupation has ended, Nagorno-Karabakh has regained its freedom, and they have taken numerous steps in close consultation with Azerbaijan, achieving significant progress towards stable peace in the Caucasus."
At the same time, Erdogan expressed his sincere belief that "the region will stabilize in a short time if Armenia correctly perceives the events and responds to the sincere calls of Azerbaijan and Turkey."
