Connection Between Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan to be Established Through Iranian Territory: Bayramov
The connection between Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan will be established through Iranian territory. This was announced by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, as reported by Azerbaijani media.
"Azerbaijan has an alternative route to connect with Nakhchivan via the Aras River, bypassing Armenia. For this purpose, in accordance with an agreement with Iran, Baku has already begun the construction of the first bridge over the Aras River," the minister noted.
