Azerbaijani Workers Begin Landworks Near Saint Yeghishe Church in Mataghis: Caucasus Heritage Watch
Caucasus Heritage Watch is closely monitoring landworks being conducted near the Saint Yeghishe Church in the city of Mataghis. The organization has noted that as of July 5, the basilica remains structurally unchanged since the 2020 war; however, the proximity of landworks is concerning.
It is worth mentioning that the Saint Yeghishe Church was constructed between 1892 and 1898.
