Azerbaijan Responds to Pashinyan's Statements
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has responded to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statements regarding the negotiation process, border demarcation, and the terms of the peace agreement.
The Azerbaijani MFA stated, "The series of statements made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his press conference on June 27 raise doubts about Armenia's desire to establish sustainable peace in the region."
"If Azerbaijan wanted war, as Pashinyan claims, then there would probably be no need for such steps. If Armenia truly desires peace, it must demonstrate concrete political will and take specific steps towards peace, without wasting time on the revival of a format (Minsk Group) whose effectiveness has always been low and whose members now openly acknowledge the impossibility of its operations," the ministry added.
