US Will Not Engage in Military Operations Against Russia in the Black Sea Due to Ukraine
The US is not planning to initiate military operations against Russia in the Black Sea due to Ukraine, according to John Kirby, the head of the Pentagon's press service.
“The President has made it clear that we are not going to send American troops to fight in Ukraine. This statement pertains to both the skies over Ukraine and the potential for a naval conflict with Russia,” the Pentagon representative told reporters.
It is worth noting that earlier, US President Joseph Biden reiterated that the US would not send its troops to Ukraine, but at the same time, Americans intend to defend NATO territory alongside their allies.
