Russia Never Forms Alliances Against Anyone, Lavrov
Russia never forms alliances to befriend certain countries against others. This was stated by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
“We never create alliances against anyone, we never befriend anyone against someone else,” the diplomat said in an interview with RT Arabic.
According to the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian Federation has a network of partner organizations that were established years ago.
Lavrov mentioned that these include the CIS, CSTO, EAEU, and SCO, which cooperate with other organizations. “The 'coupling' of these integration processes is spreading over larger and larger areas,” he noted.
In this context, he pointed out the Greater Eurasia project, which aims to encompass the entire Eurasian continent. According to the diplomat, it is being formed based on processes occurring “on the ground” and has an “Eurasian dimension.”
