Did Ararat Mirzoyan Arrive Late to the Meeting with Senators? The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Responds
Vahan Hunanian, the spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has denied reports that Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan was late to a meeting with U.S. senators while in the United States.
He specifically stated, "The information regarding the alleged lateness of Minister Mirzoyan to the meeting with Senators Menendez and Ritchie does not correspond to reality. The delegation led by the Armenian Foreign Minister arrived at the meeting on time."
It is noteworthy that political scientist Suren Sargsyan had written on his Facebook page that during his visit to the U.S., Ararat Mirzoyan was 30 minutes late to the meeting with Senators Menendez and Ritchie.
