France's Foreign Ministry Calls on Azerbaijan
France is concerned about reports of the movement of Azerbaijani troops in Nagorno-Karabakh and urges them to return to positions agreed upon under the November 9, 2020 ceasefire declaration. This was stated in a statement posted on the website of the French Foreign Ministry.
"France expresses regret over incidents in Nagorno-Karabakh, particularly armed incidents and the movements in the Parukh and Khramort regions. France urges the forces that have allegedly advanced to return to their previous positions in accordance with the November 9, 2020 ceasefire declaration," the French foreign department reports.
The Foreign Ministry also expressed concern about disruptions in gas supply to the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh and called for the restoration of permanent gas supply. It was mentioned that this issue was raised during the discussions of the French Foreign Minister with their Armenian and Azerbaijani counterparts.
