«Residents Should Not Suffer»: Zakharova on Artsakh
“We proceed from the fact that it is necessary not to aggravate the already unclear humanitarian situation, and residents should not suffer. Moscow is in contact with the parties and is calling for a solution to be found as soon as possible regarding the gas supply to Artsakh.”
This was stated today at a press conference by Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“Relevant work is being carried out with the participation of the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Defense, the Russian Ministry of Energy, and Gazprom. The difficult humanitarian situation should not be exacerbated; residents must not suffer,” she noted.
It should be reminded that the Information Headquarters of Artsakh reported that as of 16:00 today, the armed forces of Azerbaijan had violated the contact line in the direction of the village of Parukh in Askeran region.
