Gas Prices in Europe Rise Following Putin's Directive
Gas prices in Europe have risen, reaching $1350 per thousand cubic meters during trading on the London ICE exchange, according to data from the market.
This increase follows the directive from Russian President Vladimir Putin to supply gas to "unfriendly countries" exclusively in rubles, as reported by ТАСС.
The price for April futures at the Dutch TTF hub has climbed to $1353 per thousand cubic meters. Overall, the cost of gas has surged by nearly 20.3% since the start of trading.
