Numerous Officers Dismissed from Armenian Armed Forces According to Internal Report: Arman Sargsyan
According to an internal report, numerous officers have been dismissed from the Armenian Armed Forces, announced Arman Sargsyan, Deputy Minister of Defense, during a session in the National Assembly.
Sargsyan stated that he is currently unable to provide specific numerical data. "This issue is still present within the Ministry of Defense; however, measures are being taken to address personnel shortages as well. As of the day of my appointment, the ranks of company commanders and platoon commanders were in a much more depleted state than they are now. The current situation is significantly better, and we have accomplished substantial and effective work. Nevertheless, the process of dismissals continues, which is natural," noted the Deputy Minister of Defense.
