Baku Responds to Ararat Mirzoyan's Statements
Azerbaijan's position regarding the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia is clear and consistent. This was stated in a commentary from Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in response to Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan's statements on the normalization of relations between the two countries.
“We do not find it necessary to reiterate the position we have expressed multiple times. Given the importance of normalizing relations between the two countries following the conflict and establishing peace in the region, Azerbaijan has made relevant proposals and is ready to move forward in this direction. If Armenia is serious about this issue, it should present its specific proposals and thus demonstrate its willingness to start substantive negotiations,” the ministry's statement said.
