Turkish Side Violates Protocol Requirements, Distorts Ararat Mirzoyan's Name
During the meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Turkey in Antalya, the Turkish side repeatedly violated protocol requirements, likely demonstrating an unserious attitude towards resolving relations with the Armenian side.
Firstly, Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu attended the meeting with Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan without a tie, which is a serious breach of protocol for official meetings.
Subsequently, a Turkish television channel intentionally distorted Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan's name, presenting him as "AraBat Mirzoyan" during a press briefing following the official meeting. It should be noted that "bat" is an English word that translates to 'bat' in Armenian.
