Ukrainian Embassy's Call to Azerbaijanis
The Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan has called on Azerbaijani citizens through its official Facebook page not to purchase Russian-made products.
"When you buy Russian products, you are financing the war. Their weapons are killing our children," states the embassy's publication.
It is worth noting that Azerbaijanis have been actively supporting Ukraine in its war against Russia. Specifically, last week, a rally took place near the Ukrainian Embassy in Baku, where anti-Russian slogans were chanted, including insults directed at Russian President Vladimir Putin such as 'murderer Putin' and 'Putin the tyrant.'
Additionally, the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan has announced a fundraising campaign for humanitarian aid to Ukraine, and citizens are actively transferring money to an Azerbaijani bank account.
