Russia Closes Airspace to Switzerland in Response to Sanctions
Russia has closed its airspace to Switzerland as a response to the recent sanctions imposed. This was reported by TASS, citing Rosaviatsiya.
It was noted that yesterday it became known that Russia had restricted flights from 36 countries' airlines. Affected EU countries include Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, Sweden, and Estonia.
Countries outside the EU affected include Albania, Anguilla, Great Britain, the British Virgin Islands, Gibraltar, Jersey, Canada, and Norway.
