VIDEO: Some Families Displaced from Artsakh to Receive Partial Rent Compensation, Torosyan
The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, has announced that certain groups of families displaced from Artsakh will receive partial rent compensation. This assistance is aimed at families who have chosen to forgo their right to benefit from the state support program for households displaced from Artsakh.
Families eligible for the program must consist of 1-3 members and meet the program's criteria or have canceled their certification under the housing support program for displaced families. They must also be registered on the waiting list for housing assistance in the state social housing fund. Additionally, family members should have a permanent disability of the 1st or 2nd group, a severe or profound degree of functional limitation, or be aged 60 and above. For families with two members, the combined age must be 115 years or more, while for families with three members, the combined age must be 175 years or more.
Applications are accepted online at https://housing.socservice.am/. Before submitting an application, it is necessary to visit the local office of the Unified Social Service to be included in the waiting list for social housing fund assistance.
