Latvia Allows Its Citizens to Fight for Ukraine
Latvia's Saeima convened an extraordinary session to adopt special changes, with the speaker opening with a brief introduction about the situation in Ukraine and the slogan, “Glory to Ukraine, glory to the heroes.” This was reported by Sputnik Latvia.
By amending the law, Latvia has permitted its citizens to participate in military operations in Ukraine on behalf of Kyiv. It is known that on February 27, the President of Ukraine signed a decree establishing a special international structural unit in Ukraine made up of foreigners wishing to participate in military operations on behalf of Ukraine.
