Ukraine's Foreign Ministry Announces Creation of International Legion

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced that foreigners wishing to defend Ukraine can apply to the Ukrainian diplomatic missions in their respective countries for a new division called the International Territorial Defense Legion.

According to the Ukrainian UNIAN agency, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the formation of the "International Territorial Defense Legion of Ukraine" on Sunday, which will gather foreigners willing to protect the country.

"Foreigners who want to defend Ukraine and the world order as part of Ukraine's International Territorial Defense Legion, I urge you to contact Ukrainian foreign diplomatic missions in your countries," Kuleba wrote on Twitter.
