Member of Parliament Kristine Vardanyan from the 'Armenia' faction has released a video addressing the remarks from a government representative regarding the role and influence of the Diaspora.

"The Diaspora has numerous centers. The structures of the Diaspora are networked. There are influential Diaspora organizations in over 20 countries around the world. What is the problem? Does having a networked structure decrease the weight category or weaken the influence? On the contrary, it strengthens and multiplies," stated the MP.

According to her assessment, the issue for the government is not the decentralization of the Diaspora, but the existence of influential organizations and individuals who continue to promote the Armenian agenda. Vardanyan specifically pointed to issues such as the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, Armenia's security, the return of prisoners of war, and the territorial integrity of Armenia.

Vardanyan argued that some Diaspora organizations and individuals are able to raise these issues during meetings with leaders of various countries and contribute to the adoption of relevant resolutions.

"If they have succumbed to the demands of Azerbaijan and Turkey, then according to their logic, there should be no organization or individual in the Armenian world that has not submitted to these demands. Thus, the ruling power has essentially declared war on the Armenian Cause network alongside Azerbaijan and Turkey, and has declared influential Armenians as enemies," Vardanyan announced.

She also raised a question about why Armenia should not utilize the connections and capabilities of influential representatives from the Diaspora to promote state interests, citing Israel's experience as an example.

Vardanyan believes that Armenia could have incomparably greater opportunities if it cooperates with organized Armenian communities living in the USA, Canada, Russia, Iran, Australia, and European countries.
