Mysterious Incident in Yerevan: Body of 24-Year-Old Found with Gunshot Wound in Living Room

On February 18, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 09:50, the Mashtots police department and the 9-11 crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia received a notification that there was a body in one of the houses on Sporti Street in the Ajapnyak administrative district.

According to shamshyan.com, the emergency medical team that arrived at the scene confirmed the death. Police officers and rescuers found the body of 24-year-old Vahing H. on the couch in the living room of the house, with a gunshot wound to the head. Next to him, a hunting rifle was discovered.

Currently, a team from the Investigative Committee of Armenia’s Yerevan investigative department for Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts is working on the scene. It is being determined whether this incident was a suicide, a homicide, or an unfortunate accident.
