Vehicles Collide on Tashir-Saratovka Road; One Driver Hospitalized

On February 12, at 21:19, the Lori regional crisis management center received a report of a traffic accident on the Tashir-Saratovka road with casualties.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations responded to the scene. It was discovered that two vehicles, a "GAZ-24" (driver: A. H., born in 1976) and a "VAZ-2115", collided at the beginning of the village of Saratovka.

Before the rescuers arrived, the driver of the "VAZ-2115" was pulled out of the car by local forces and was taken to the Tashir Medical Center.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicles' batteries, closed the gas cylinder valves, and performed ventilation and road cleaning works.
