Earthquake in Armenia: Several Villages in Shirak Region Left without Power
A short while ago, an earthquake occurred in Armenia, and its tremors were felt in Yerevan as well.
At 22:25, the seismic monitoring network of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations registered a 5.2 magnitude earthquake located 16 km northeast of the city of Bavra, Georgia, at a depth of 10 km. The intensity of the tremors in the epicentral area reached 6-7 points.
The earthquake was felt with an intensity of 4-5 points in the Shirak, Lori, and Aragatsotn regions, and 3 points in Yerevan.
According to Shamshyan.com, several villages in the Shirak region have been left without electricity. There were also power outages in some neighborhoods of Gyumri. Citizens exited their buildings in fear.
