Emergency Situation in Syunik Province: A 2 km Road Becomes Impassable
An emergency situation has persisted for over three hours in Syunik Province. More than 200 vehicles, including truck drivers, are unable to pass through the section of the Yerevan-Meghri highway between kilometers 195-197.
According to photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan, the cause of the blockage is the inadequate work of the Sisian road maintenance crew, who failed to clear the road of snow and black ice.
