«Տկզար». Social Media Discusses the Term Used by Alen Simonyan
Moments ago, National Assembly President Alen Simonyan addressed the speech of Yerevan Mayor Haik Marutyan, in which Marutyan criticized the government's decision to purchase a $200,000 vehicle for the Speaker of the National Assembly. He referred to the former mayor as "տկզար" (t’kzar).
Citizens are discussing the meaning of this rarely used term in everyday conversation. T’kzar means a lady who plays the piyal (a type of traditional instrument).
As per tradition, users began to make witty remarks, draw comparisons, and present their unique interpretations of the entire process of filing a vote of no confidence against Haik Marutyan.
