Armenia to Appoint Special Representative for Dialogue with Turkey, Says Foreign Ministry Spokesman
Armenia, as it has always done in the past, remains prepared for a process aimed at normalizing relations with Turkey without preconditions, as stated in the Armenian government's program. This was noted by Foreign Ministry spokesman Vahan Stepanyan.
“In this regard, we view positively the announcement by Turkey's Foreign Minister about the appointment of a special representative for the purpose of normalizing relations, and we confirm that the Armenian side will also appoint a special representative for dialogue,” he stated.
