Iran's Embassy in Azerbaijan Releases New Map
The official Twitter account of Iran's Embassy in Azerbaijan has published a map, stating, "Following the revitalization of the ECO corridor (Pakistan, #Iran, Turkey) and the trial launch of the North-South global corridor (Finland, Russia, Azerbaijan, #Iran, Persian Gulf, and India), a new corridor has been activated this week. (#Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Black Sea, and Europe)." This was reported by the Telegram channel Azerbaijan Postfact.
According to the channel, this represents a diplomatic setback for Armenia.
It should be noted that earlier, Iran's ambassador Seyyed Abbas Mousavi tweeted: "A new corridor connecting Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Black Sea, and Europe will be activated this week. This corridor will begin operations following the trial exploitation of the North-South corridor (Finland, Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Persian Gulf, and India)." Furthermore, it was previously announced that Iran, Azerbaijan, and Georgia have agreed to create a transit route connecting the Persian Gulf with the Black Sea.
