Illegal Hunting Prevented in Dilijan National Park
The Inspectorate for Nature Protection and Soil Inspection of Armenia reports that during a joint inspection with the staff of the Dilijan National Park on the night of November 17, an illegal hunting activity was suspected in the area of the park's "Dilijan Division." The vehicle driven by resident V.H. of Yerevan, a "Niva" model, was stopped.
An illegal hunting firearm of the "TOZ-120" type, along with 31 rounds of 12mm ammunition and a flashlight, were seized from the vehicle. Materials are being prepared on the matter.
