Azerbaijan is Trying to Influence People's Emotions: Allen Simonian on Bus Incident

Azerbaijan is attempting to irritate people through minor actions and influence their emotions. This opinion was expressed by the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Allen Simonian, during a conversation with journalists in Gyumri, commenting on the actions of Azerbaijanis regarding a bus transporting Artsakh children on the Goris-Kapan road.

On September 17, Azerbaijanis stopped a bus with Armenian license plates that was carrying Artsakh children. An Azerbaijani soldier scraped the Artsakh flag off the vehicle and then «taught» the children on the bus whose territory Artsakh is.

«I believe no one will succeed in removing the Artsakh flag or the symbol of Artsakh,» said Allen Simonian.

It should be noted that Simonian is in Gyumri to participate in the city’s day celebrations, having traveled there with his family.
