September 20 Will Be a Non-Working Day; Another Day Will Be Considered Working
The working day of September 20, 2021, will be moved to September 25, 2021, which falls on a Saturday. The decision will be announced during the government's meeting tomorrow.
In the justification for the draft decision of the government of the Republic of Armenia regarding the moving of the working day, it is noted: “The acceptance of the draft decision to move the working day is conditioned by the necessity to organize citizens' leisure in connection with the holidays of the Republic of Armenia.”
The acceptance of this draft decision by the government is based on Article 19 of the Law on Holidays and Memorial Days of the Republic of Armenia.
The draft decision was developed by the personnel and management department of the Prime Minister's staff. The adoption of the government’s draft decision will not cause changes or additions to other legal acts or increases or decreases in the expenses and revenues of state or local self-government bodies' budgets.
