Peskov on the Likelihood of Putin-Biden Negotiations Regarding Afghanistan
There are currently no plans to organize negotiations between the Presidents of Russia and the USA regarding the situation in Afghanistan. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the President of Russia, during a meeting with journalists, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“There are no such plans at this time. The Russian and American sides are in contact and exchanging opinions on how the situation is developing in Afghanistan. However, no communication at the highest level is planned,” Peskov said in response to a relevant question.
