Video: Clarifying the Confusion Surrounding the Law - Who Will Be Exempt from Recorded Penalties?
On August 6, 2021, the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh adopted a law stating that individuals who were subjected to administrative liability prior to August 6, 2021, are exempt from paying outstanding and partially paid amounts.
The law will come into effect on the tenth day following its official publication, meaning it will take effect from September 2, 2021.
It should be noted that the adoption of this law has caused significant confusion among citizens living in Armenia. Many have been contacting the Aurora News editorial office trying to understand whether the law applies to them.
Aurora News spoke with Armen Ohanian, the Deputy Head of the Road Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh. For more details, watch the video.
