Ararat Mirzoyan to Visit Moscow on August 31
On August 31, a meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will take place in Moscow, where Mirzoyan will be on a working visit. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to reports, the meeting is set to thoroughly discuss the development of the Armenian-Russian alliance in all sectors, enhancing cooperation within common integration unions, such as the CIS, CSTO, EAEU, and further steps towards coordinating positions within international organizations such as the UN and OSCE.
The implementation of the agreements made by the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan on November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021, will be discussed, including humanitarian issues and the unblocking of economic and transport links in the South Caucasus. We hope that the negotiations in Moscow will contribute to deepening allied cooperation with Yerevan and strengthening stability and security in the region,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' statement said.
