Children of Fallen and Disabled Soldiers to Attend Camp at State Expense
Approximately 3,200 children aged 7 to 13, from soldiers and reservists who were killed or disabled during the war, as well as orphans and children from low-income large families, will have the opportunity to spend their summer vacation in several camps. This decision was made during today's government meeting.
Acting Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan stated that the camps will operate in two shifts, each lasting 20 days, with 1,600 participants in each shift.
"The total amount necessary for the organization of the camps will be 335 million drams, of which 321.6 million drams will be allocated to organizations for organizing the summer vacation, and 13.4 million drams will be provided to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure for the transportation costs of children to the camps from the regions," Dumanyan said.
