Boris Avagyan Dismissed from Position of Deputy Director of Emergency Situations Service
Boris Avagyan has been dismissed from his position as Deputy Director of the Emergency Situations Service due to the opinions expressed during a press conference in Yerevan. This decision was made by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, Karen Sargsyan, today.
The statement released by the Emergency Situations Service noted: “Mr. Avagyan did not inform the higher leadership about his organization of the press conference and spoke on topics that exceed his authorities. Most of the thoughts and opinions expressed by Mr. Avagyan not only do not share the position of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Emergency Situations Service but also do not correspond to reality. Considering his inappropriate behavior for a serviceman and the abuse of his official position, Boris Avagyan has been dismissed from his position by the order of Karen Sargsyan.”
