Ambassador Arman Navasardyan Passes Away
Arman Navasardyan, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Armenia, has passed away at the age of 82. This was reported to Tert.am by a relative of Navasardyan.
According to them, Arman Navasardyan had been hospitalized for an extended period at the Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Centre.
Navasardyan was born on April 6, 1939. From 1956 to 1960, he studied at the Yerevan State Linguistic University named after Valeri Brusov. He continued his education at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR during 1974-1976 and 1988-1989. From 2015 to 2018, he was a PhD candidate at the Institute of International Relations and Global Politics of the Armenian-Russian University.
From 1991 to 1993, Navasardyan held the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and served in various diplomatic roles in Algeria, Senegal, Austria, Hungary, and Lebanon. He held the diplomatic rank of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador.
