What is the Connection Between the Pashinyan-Aliyev Secret Agreement and Ara Saghatelyan's Imprisonment?
The supporters of former head of the RA National Assembly's staff, Ara Saghatelyan, have gathered in front of the NSS building. They are demanding the cessation of prosecution and the release of Saghatelyan. Political scientist Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan mentioned that they are preparing to hand over numerous materials to the NSS, which will prove what Saghatelyan did in the information sector to strengthen Armenia's positions in the world.
“It became known that the NSS was following and wiretapping Ara Saghatelyan during the days of the war. Exactly during those days, when Saghatelyan was working with international media in Stepanakert, coordinating their work, and we are talking about serious global media,” said Melik-Shahnazaryan.
According to him, even the Ukrainian press, which was filled with anti-Armenian propaganda during the war, managed to change certain situations thanks to Saghatelyan. Melik-Shahnazaryan noted that during the days of the war, the NSS was busy “hunting for fake accounts” and “devils.” Today, however, the security bodies are focused on isolating all those who are capable of revealing Nikol Pashinyan's secret plans and agreements with Aliyev.
“We have seen that recently, a road has been allocated for Azerbaijanis through the Martakert area towards Karvachar, and, in fact, this is also being done as a result of some oral secret agreements. When you combine all this, it becomes clear that, yes, there are secret agreements between Nikol and Aliyev. I do not rule out that isolating Ara Saghatelyan and other specialists who can reveal this is also within the framework of those agreements,” said Melik-Shahnazaryan.
