Sergey Lavrov Addresses Reports about His 'Illegitimate' Son

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov, has discussed rumors about himself during an interview with Vladimir Solovyov. Addressing questions regarding reports about his 'illegitimate' son and whether the attempts to tarnish his family's reputation concern him, Lavrov responded, 'I do not read those reports myself. Sometimes, with the best intentions, friends draw attention to them. For example, six or seven months ago, a report was aired, as usual, anonymously, claiming that my 'illegitimate' son works in one of the Russian Foreign Ministry departments.'
