Continuation of Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict May Create Security Issues at Iran's Borders: Iranian Parliament Speaker
The continuation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict may create security issues at Iran's northern borders. This was stated by Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf during a speech at the Russian Foreign Ministry's Diplomatic Academy.
“We are pleased that Russia has made efforts to stop this war as soon as possible. However, I believe there are latent threats in this region. I mean that it is necessary to prevent the presence of terrorist forces in this area,” he added.
