Rustam Bakoian Appointed to New Position
Rustam Bakoian, a Yazidi MP from the "My Step" faction of the Armenian National Assembly, has been appointed as the head of the Armenia-Iraq Friendship Group in Parliament. This decision was announced on the official website of the National Assembly.
According to the draft decision from the parliamentary council dated March 25, 2019, regarding the formation of friendship groups in the seventh convocation of the National Assembly, changes were made to the group’s composition. Specifically, the phrase "Knyaz Hasanov, 'My Step' faction" was modified to reflect "Rustam Bakoian, Head of the 'My Step' faction" instead of "Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Head of the 'My Step' faction."
