Artsakh's Foreign Ministry Will Not Be Dissolved: Official
The Foreign Ministry of Artsakh will continue its work and operations. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Artsakh Foreign Ministry, Artak Nersisyan, in an interview with Auroranews.am, thus refuting rumors about the possible dissolution of the ministry circulating on the internet.
In particular, today the chief editor of the Russian Regnum news agency and political scientist Modest Kolerov wrote on his Facebook page that the Foreign Ministry of Nagorno-Karabakh could be dissolved at the request of Azerbaijan and with the approval of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
According to Kolerov, Artsakh's President Araik Harutyunyan intends to personally oversee Nagorno-Karabakh's foreign policy. He remarked, "No one is asking for Russia's opinion at this point." In our conversation, Artak Nersisyan noted that they do not possess any such information and that the ministry will continue to carry out its functions.
