Iran Conducts Launch of New Rocket Carrier

Iran has conducted the launch of a new rocket carrier. This was reported by РИА Новости, citing the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic.

According to the Iranian agency, the rocket intended for satellite delivery is named "Zuljanah" and is equipped with the most powerful engine among all Iranian rockets, which operates on solid fuel.

“This rocket carrier is capable of lifting a satellite weighing 220 kg to an altitude of 500 km,” states the announcement from the Ministry of Defense. The ministry indicated that this launch was experimental.

This marks the first time Iran has used solid fuel for launching a rocket carrier.
