Russian Military Monitors American Destroyer Porter Entering Black Sea

The Russian Black Sea Fleet's forces are monitoring the activities of the American destroyer Porter, which has entered the Black Sea. This was reported to journalists by the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation.

"The forces and means of the Black Sea Fleet have taken up positions on the operations of the US Navy's destroyer Porter, which entered the waters of the Black Sea on January 28, 2021, at 19:00," the agency stated.

It is noteworthy that at the end of June, the US Navy's destroyer Porter had also entered the waters of the Black Sea. It was under the control of the forces of the Russian Southern Military District. Additionally, fighter jets from the Black Sea Fleet's naval aviation were scrambled to intercept an American reconnaissance aircraft.
