Body of Slain Woman Discovered in Karintak
During search operations in the village of Karintak in Artsakh, the body of a deceased civilian has been found. Hunan Tadevosyan, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Artsakh Emergency Situations State Service, informed Armenpress about the discovery.
The remains of 58-year-old Alvard Tovmasyan, a resident of Karintak, were located by the search team in the backyard of her home. The deceased woman's identity has been recognized by her relatives. A forensic examination has been initiated.
On January 13, search efforts were also conducted in the directions of Talish, Hadrut, and Mataghis, where no remains of deceased individuals were found. To date, the number of identified fallen soldiers and civilians in the combat zones stands at 1230.
Today, no search operations will be carried out. The Azerbaijani side has reported that due to certain operations, it is currently not feasible to continue the searches.
