14 Detained in Clash Between MP Sisak Gabrielyan and Protesters
Fourteen individuals have been detained in connection with a brawl that occurred between MP Sisak Gabrielyan from the "My Step" faction and a group of protesters outside the National Assembly building. This information was confirmed by the Public Relations and Information Department of the Armenian Police in an interview with Armenpress.
"A criminal case has been initiated in the police regarding the incident that took place near the National Assembly. An investigation is currently underway. There are 14 individuals detained within the framework of the case," the department stated.
The brawl took place on December 28, when supporters demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan clashed with MP Gabrielyan.
