Turkey Constructs Military Base in Ganja, While Russians Remain Active
Turkey is constructing a military base in Ganja (Gandzak). This has been reported by the Wargonzo project, referring to its source in Istanbul.
The project states that Ankara has already begun the construction of the base, doing so under the guise of civil infrastructure restoration.
“Erdogan has not been entirely satisfied with the outcomes of the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War. He is displeased with the role the Russian peacekeepers have gained, which the Turks did not achieve. Meanwhile, the Russian side is actively working on organizing the commencement of operations at Stepanakert Airport. In addition to helicopters, Turkish F-16 fighters will also be stationed at the Ganja military base,” the media outlet writes.
