Urgent Action Required: 12 Houses from Vorotan Village Transferring to Azerbaijan, Says Arush Arushanyan
Information has come to light that 12 houses from Vorotan village in the Syunik region are transferring to Azerbaijan. This was announced today, December 24, during a conversation with journalists by the Mayor of Goris, Arush Arushanyan.
When asked whether he would be heading to Goris, Arushanyan stated, “Yes, we need to go urgently because I just received information that 12 houses from our village of Vorotan are also being transferred. We need to go and understand what is happening. If this continues, we receive information daily that the enemy decides that this is their village, their territory, their property, and that there are no people there. The authorities have never been interested in this function. Therefore, we people of Syunik need to go and understand what we can do.”
It is remembered that on December 23, Azerbaijani forces entered one of the houses in Vorotan village and demanded the owner evacuate the property within one hour.
