Azerbaijan and Turkey Plan to Establish High-Tech Park in Nagorno-Karabakh
A high-tech park is set to be established in Nagorno-Karabakh by Azerbaijan and Turkey, following the signing of a relevant memorandum between the two countries, as reported by Azerbaijan's Innovation Agency, according to РІА Новости.
"Nagorno-Karabakh has always been a cultural center, the homeland of poets, musicians, and artists. Transforming Nagorno-Karabakh into a region of high technologies and innovations is of great importance for the economy and progress of our state. For this purpose, it is planned to open technology parks and innovation centers in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Innovation Agency has taken the first step down that path by signing a memorandum with GOSB Technopark, located in one of Turkey's largest industrial zones, which supports 130 technology companies," the agency's statement reads.
It is noted that the memorandum includes points regarding the further joint activities of both parties.
