Many residents of Berdzor are currently in the city. This was reported by Berdzor's mayor, Narek Aleksanyan, in an interview with Armenpress. He stated that Russian peacekeepers informed yesterday that no flags from either side should be present in the city. As a result, the flag of the Republic of Artsakh has been lowered.

“However, the Russian peacekeepers have not clarified whether Azerbaijani armed forces will enter Berdzor or not. For security reasons, it is possible that women and children have left Berdzor, but many have stayed. Regarding the rumors circulating since yesterday that 200 residents are to remain in the city as staff serving the peacekeepers, I have no information on that. In any case, the number of residents currently remaining in the city is greater than 200. Personally, I am also in Berdzor,” the mayor elaborated, adding that there have been no issues up to this point.

Currently, Russian peacekeepers are stationed in Berdzor, and they are waiting for further developments.
