Fog and Black Ice on Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that roads in the territory of Armenia are passable. However, there are sections with black ice on the roads of Gegharkunik Province.

In the Aragatsotn Province, fog is present in the Talin region, as well as in the towns of Ashtarak and Aparan, and in the Lori Province's Spitak serpentine.

The roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Kary Lake in Aragatsotn Province are difficult to navigate.

Regarding the Lars issue, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Emergency Situations Department of the Russian Federation's North Ossetia region, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.

According to the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the decision prohibiting foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. However, this ban does not apply to cargo transport.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
